Outrage!

Quiet, seething outrage.  That's what I'm feeling, what I'm forced to deal with every day.  Somewhere, deep inside me, there's a primal scream wanting out.  If my hair were only longer I would start pulling at it.  I could use a punching bag about now.

It's about Barack Hussein Obama.  How, in heavens name, could the country I love, this shinning city on a hill, this last, best hope of mankind have been so blindly stupid as to elect him President?  What a demoralizing, humiliating, insulting thing to have happened.  I cry for my country.  I weep bitter tears and gnash my teeth.

Barack Hussein Obama is barely an American.  I'm not talking about his birth certificate, or whether he is a "naturally born" citizen.  Although those are questions that the American people surely deserve to have answered.  But no, I'm talking about where the man came from, and who he is.

Barack Hussein Obama's father was never an American.  But he came to America and arguably he could have stayed.  He could have become an American.  However, he chose not to and left.  Barack Hussein Obama's mother was an American.  But she chose to abandon her country, and as far as I know she never came back.  Unless you are so naive as to believe that examples set by one's parents are irrelevant, you have to ask what effect his parents' total rejection of America had on the formation of Barack Hussein Obama's character.  Certainly, it could not have given the young Barack Hussein Obama any familial sense of attachment to America.  The element of American family identity is completely missing in his life.  He has, in the historical sense, no ties whatsoever to America.  He didn't even come to America by choice.  He was sent to Hawaii as a child to live with a grandparent.  Barack Hussein Obama is certainly not an Hawaiian.  Consider that Hawaii has only been a State since 1959.  I'm told there are still strong feelings of independence among native and generational Hawaiians with regard to "Howlies."  "Howlie" is a derogatory name reserved by Hawaiians to describe primarily White non-Polynesian mainlanders.  One can only surmise how the mulatto Barack Hussein Obama identified within his young peer group as he was passing through those formative years growing up in Hawaii, starting a mere 12 years after Statehood.  Where would a mixed race youth, shuffled off by his parents, find his sense of self identity in such a culture?

In any event, it is painfully obvious that Barack Hussein Obama grew up hating America and everything America stands for.  Barack Hussein Obama is doing all he can to destroy America.  If that sounds too strong an accusation, just observe that he has led us into fathomless debt, attacked the foundations of our capitalist free market system by nationalizing industry, is attempting to subjugate the entire population with government controlled national health care, and is proposing the government take over and control all national energy production through the cap and trade hydro carbons scheme.  Every day Barack Hussein Obama looks out the Oval Office window and hates what he sees.  He, after all, is all about hope and change.  Our America is not his America.

But what kind of changes can we expect from Barack Hussein Obama?  It's not a question of how well his corporate bail outs or national health care or environmental cap and trade programs will work.  It's a question of who he is and what he wants.  And that can best be seen in where he's been and who he's been with.  As an adult Obama has chosen to associate himself with the worst elements of Black and White America.  He was sponsored by Islamic Arabs to gain admission to Harvard.  He fostered relationships with known terrorists and radical anti-American leftists.  He built a political constituency out of his membership and participation in a racist anti-White church.  He married a woman who by her own admission took no pride in being an American until her husband was nominated for the Presidency.  He graciously accepts the support of America's domestic enemies, the New Black Panther Party and the Black Muslims-Nation of Islam.  He even condones the Justice Department's refusal to prosecute clearly meritorious voter fraud and intimidation charges against members of those groups.*  He sponsors the immigration of thousands of Palestinian Arabs to America.  He advocates the release of suspected terrorists that American soldiers have fought and died to capture.  Barack Hussein Obama's intentions are open and obvious.  I can at least say that he isn't hiding his true intentions from us.

When I read America's founding documents, or see images of America's revolutionary heros, or behold Old Glory my heart swells with pride.  Those were my people in spirit, and they represent my ideals, and my heart felt dedication to freedom and liberty.  I identify with them.  I am a part of what they created.   Barack Hussein Obama sees them out of entirely different eyes.  In the Constitution and Declaration of Independence he sees documents that allowed the continuation of slavery under which the "Massas" of the new world devised a capitalist system to subjugate poorer working classes and those of color.  His "hope and change" is to abolish the free market capitalist system, and replace it with a government regulated socialist economy that will redistribute the wealth of America by taking it away from successful corporations and entrepreneurs and giving it to labor unions and social welfare agencies.  He recognizes no special quality in America's constitutional republic.  He takes no pride in America's history of defending freedom and democracy.  It wasn't his people who fought and died in our wars.  It wasn't his system of government that was being defended.  He has no stake in it.

Barack Hussein Obama is not alone.  His hatred of America may be deeper and stronger than that of many others.  But he has legions of disaffected, disgruntled, and displaced compatriots with whom he shares his hatred.  There are a lot of people with grudges against America who feel entitled to more than they've received.  Activist gays, feminists, Hispanics, environmentalists, Muslims, pacifists, atheists, to mention just a few.  All of these groups have differing agendas and goals, but they all have one thing in common.  They all hate America and want to radically change her.  Barack Hussein Obama was swept into office by a Democratic Party filled with such groups, and energized with an all consuming hatred of President, George W. Bush and the America he represented.  Make no mistake.  George W. Bush's America is the traditional America, the constitutional republic and representative democracy passed down to us from the hands of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and our other founders.  It is traditional America they hate so vehemently.  George W. Bush was just the focal point of their vitriol.

The trouble with conservatives is that they are conservative.  We see that America is in mortal danger from an out of control Congress and President, both of whom seem bent on her destruction.  But the conservative thing to do is wait until the elections of 2010 and make our best efforts to overturn the liberal majorities in both Houses, and elect a new President in 2012.  The problem is that America may be irretrievably gone by then.
